Welcome to Colling Photography. We are a husband and wife team who love to photograph really cool clients and get a kick out of creating amazing images for them! We specialize in weddings and lifestyle portraits, where we get to document the greatest joys in peoples lives. We use a photojournalistic approach with weddings and focus on capturing the events, relationships, and the story of the day. Our lifestyle portraiture is relaxed and reflects the unique character of each of our clients.

Jeremiah…is competitive, precise, and a big time Cubs fan. He even named his first son Wrigley. Seriously. He loves his wife, kids, and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although very active, he does have one known weakness : his wife’s under baked chocolate chip cookies. They are seriously the best on the planet. His favorite TV show is The Office, and clients are encouraged to banter and interact with quotes from these episodes to further enhance the enjoyment of each session.
Kathie…(thinks) she is more competitive than Jeremiah, enthusiastic, and a White Sox fan. Kathie also loves Christ, her family, and likes to read and run. Her favorite food is grilled cheese with bacon on Rye. It’s the bomb. And so is Mexican food…Chicken Chimichanga anyone? WYSIWYG with her – instantly likable, always smiling, and full of energy.
We…both enjoy rooting for the (Chicago) Bears together. We like to mountain bike, rock climb, and do stuff with our kids outside. Both of us were catchers in college, so we like to throw out runners trying to steal. Well, we used to. We have four incredible kids (2 girls, 2 boys) who keep us young and never cease to make us laugh. We will be happy with whatever they want to do in sports, so long as it’s baseball or softball. Just kidding. Kind of. We are their biggest fans and enjoy life to the fullest with them.
