Dave & Emily (Part 2) – Virginia Wedding Photography | Lynchburg, VA

Yay! Part 2 is ready!

Once Dave & Emily were husband and wife it was off to the reception to celebrate with all the family and friends. The reception was held at the Trivium and all the guests were treated to good food and a lot of fun and dancing. It should be made known that if you ever need some really fun people to get the dancing started you need only to call on the friends that attended this reception. These guys and girls kept the dance floor busy with their basketball moves, double dutch, and of course the worm thrown down like its the easiest move to do. Nathan (Emily’s dad) gets major props for jumping out on the dance floor and throwing down his own slam dunk moves! It was awesome and it was definitely a moment that you had to be there for. The reception carried on as guests mingled and looked to be thoroughly enjoying either watching the dancing or partaking in it. It was a great night for all involved!

As the evening came to an end the grand exit was definitely creative with all the guests being given a Kazoo. As they formed two lines outside of the Trivium there was a lot of Kazoo practicing going on as they waited for Emily & Dave to exit. It was quite humorous to listen to and fun to photograph as well! Dave & Emily ran through to a chorus of Kazoos and drove away into the night as Mr. & Mrs.

Enjoy peeking through these images and remembering the day as it happened.

Tea Party, Daddy’s Way | Life with Truth - […] My friend, Callie, let me borrow her extra camera for a few weeks while she was on maternity leave.  I had so much fun working with a professional camera!  She encouraged me to keep it on the manual setting, which I did, and these are some of the ones I took.  Thanks, Callie!! The ‘tea’ you see here is actually strawberry milk.  At a wedding we attended, there was a milk and cookie bar instead of cake.  They had plain milk, chocolate and strawberry, and it reminded Bradley how much he loves strawberry milk!  You can read about the wedding here and here.
